Trust ownership (of Unison) ensures the long-term focus of the Company remains on delivering economic benefits to customers and consumer shareholders. Every year the Trust distributes dividends from Unison to Hastings and Napier power consumers. The benefits of Trust ownership are also reflected in other ways, including assisting consumers with energy efficiency and conservation projects.

HBPCT dividends are paid to power consumers residing its Napier and Hastings coverage areas as shown below.
